When my parents, sister and I came to Canada over 20 years ago, we left all of our extended family back in Poland; it was just the four of us. Since then both my sister and I have gotten married and our family, here in Canada is growing. Marta’s and my three children already had a “boy cousin” but it wasn’t until this Monday that they finally got to meet their first “girl cousin”. My sister and her husband Matthew, along with their son Lucas, welcomed baby Hailey into their family. I don’t need to say how happy we are that Hailey is finally with us and that she is healthy and just beautiful!!! I snuck away for a few hours this weekend to take a couple photos of my 5 day old niece, and I would like to share them with you:
