This past weekend I had the opportunity to do something different, something very new to me. I was given the chance to photograph the First Communion of just under 30 young Catholic Boys and Girls, here in London at the Lady of Czestochowa Church. Though the opportunity was a new one, I always welcome a challenge and give it my all.
I felt my faith refreshed as I saw this Sacrament through the eyes of the young Boys and Girls. It was incredibly touching to look a few rows into the pews and see doting parents and supportive relatives and friends. This special day brought back memories of my own First Communion, and spurred hopes for the upcoming events and celebrations for my own children.
I hope that these photos will help these Youngsters and their Parents remember this very special day.
